The Afro-Scot Relief Project was founded in October 2020. We operated as an online community project during the pandemic period, inspired by inequality and mental health challenges experienced by the Africans living locally.

In April of 2022 we got fully registered as a charity with the independent regulator and registrar for Scottish charities (OSCR).

Afro-Scot Relief Project is a charity that is committed to promote the health and wellbeing of Africans living in Scotland through a holistic approach. We also aim to promote African Heritage, Art and culture.

Our mission is to promote the wellbeing of African living in Scotland, by channelling them through available opportunities for  empowerment and engaging them in social and recreational activities that allows easy integration in the community.

We are a fully registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) charity No. SC051690.
